After hours and hours and hours of painting, scraping, cleaning this dresser...it is finally almost complete. All I have to do is find the perfect knobs :)

I found a simple white antique dresser on craigslist for only $50 and had a vision of a tree dresser. and here it is!!! My inspiration comes from ao neko's tree dresser

Kitchen Chair #2

Here is chair #2 for my kitchen table. I think the blue color came out really pretty :) I found this chair in my house, and I know, the top is missing a part, but I think it adds some funk!

who likes my new chair???

So, I went into Anthro the other day and looked in their home section (duh)

and noticed that they had a a wood kitchen table with a bunch of random chairs.

None of them matched and I thought it looked GREAT!

I'm trying that idea on my apartment for next year.....

here is chair number 1:

And guess what??? All it took was a simple wood chair from a thrift shop ($5), some paint, and an anthropologie cushion (on sale for $14.99)
